Message from Ron Hale, President and CEO

Message from Ron Hale, President and CEO

For us here at TCRC, one of the most important words in our Mission Statement is "committed."  We are committed to opearting many diverse programs from our eleven facilities.  We are committed to serving the needs of over 400 people from central Illinois on a daily basis.  And we are committed to challengeing ourselves to find new, and better, ways of providing that service.

The most recent challenge for TCRC is how to better provide for the needs of profoundly developmentally disabled persons who are served at our Day Training and Senior Service sites in Morton.  Due to a significant growth in need, these facilities are no longer adequate for the best practice care of our clients there.

TCRC has risen to this challenge and is committing its resources to the construction of a new, state-of-the-art, 27,000-square-foot Day Training building in Morton. This innovative facility is being specifically designed with the individual needs of our developmentally disabled clients in mind and will open its doors in early 2009 to those living throughout Tazewell County and central Illinois.

Beginning in our 25th Anniversary year of 2008, TCRC will be asking our families, friends, and community leaders to join together in helping us meet this huge challenge.  You will be given the special opportunity of supporting some of the most significantly disabled persons in our community through your financial generosity.

Thank you for your consideration and support.

Ron Hale
